Description: 
Matsya Vahini Scheme For quick transportation of fresh fish in hygienic condition from fish landing centres to marketing places, financial assistance is provided under this scheme. A subsidy of 25 per cent up to a maximum of Rs. 30,000 for purchase of a 3-wheeler tempo rickshaw and 25 per cent subsidy subject to a maximum of Rs. 35,000 for the purchase of 4-wheeler is being provided to groups of 3-4 persons. Apart from this, under this scheme provision has been made for fishermen who possess non-motorised (pathi doni) boats to purchase fishery requisites for a unit cost of Rs. 10,000 and avail subsidy of maximum Rs. 5000.
