Application side changes

Auto porting of PFZ and TUNA data from INCOIS IDS API.

Users able to see the other districts PFZ data without updating the profile.

Boat type and boat ownership added in user registration similarly email and purpose field dropped from the user details form.

Share option enabled for Disaster alert page.

Updated user authentication module (Google-based SMS verification) got introduced. The verification carried out for a new user if its old user means verification got skipped and directly proceed to use the application. Also, SMS cost not debited from the user.

New Firebase analytics got introduced which helps to track the application usages in addition to the google analytics.

Internal notification alert option got enabled for application and this will notify the user about new version along with default Google play notification.

Addressed the issues in fetching data government schemes.

Non-display of PFZ and OSF data in the Bengali language got addressed.

Addressed the Version conflict and Null data display issues in Google analytics.

Facebook and Gmail authentication got removed.

Server side changes

Server migrate from Linode VPS to Amazon AWS and new domain http://mssrf-ffma.org registered and mapped.

Application Update:

Selected market information details display got enabled in FFMA.

New feature Internal notification feature got enabled which inform users about new updates whenever they launch the application.

Based on Kerala Fisherman feedback we update new feature like speed,distance,bearing angle,accuracy and provision for adding latitude and longitude details got enabled in compass feature.

Based on the Tamilnadu fisherman feedback,bearing angle display got enabled in GPS feature of FFMA.

New Language Marathi got enabled in application

Harbour details of tamil nadu got added.

Size of PAN FFMA got reduced from 8.20 MB to 6.20 MB.

FFMA 3.2.1 Release Notes

Portal Update:
Server got rebuild to resolve the bandwidth related issues.
Extra two field to get the Android and Google Play service version. This data will helps to track the Google Analytics issues.

Application:

Facility to fetch the Android os and Google Play version from mobile and send to server for further analyses.
If lower google play server version available in the mobile means its automatically alert the user to upgrade new version.
New Module Share got enabled which enable user to share the APK link to user through social media option available in the mobile (whatsapp,Facebook,Twitter etc)

Portal Update:

District details for Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh and west Bengal added.
Double Entry Allepey got removed ( FFMA 3.1 Feedback).
INCOIS data porting module (PFZ) got created based on the sample PFZ CSV.
Option got enabled to fetch the Latitude/Latitude values in DMS format for PFZ (direct porting).

Application

GPS issues (i.e) malfunctioning of Distance and Speed got Rectified( FFMA 3.1 Feedback).
Tamil & Telugu language got enabled in application.
APP launcher screen got changed (INCOIS Feedback).
Android 2.3 set for minimum version to work.

FFMA 3.1 Release Notes

FFMA 3.1 fixed following list of issues
PFZ:
• Verify the double entry of landing centres
• Spelling mistakes in most of the landing centre
• TUNA forecast screen are not able to view in the app. The portal is accepted the data but the apps are not able to view the data
• Kollam and Teny district PFZ data not displayed. Empty screen is coming

OSF:
• Some of the landing centre are not displayed in portal and need to add it
• Updating 24 hours data of OSF in portal but only 12 hours data is displayed in the app. Need to rectify the issue
• Tamil and Telungu FFMA apk OSF data screen designed based on time zone. Like 0-6 hours, 6-12 hours etc. If we update the data in the particular time period and its reflected in the app in the particular coumn. But now it is designed on data entry based display which created problem in data view in the Apps. Need to activate earlier process as like Tamil.
• OSF display screen problem in Malayalam version.
• 5-7 minutes delay observed while viewing data in the apps after data updation.

GPS:
• Need to maintain the uniformity in updating GPS value in data entry in Portal. For example in Tamil application the GPS “second” value only accepted by the device with two digits number but here even one digits also accepted. It needs to be changed.
• The Lat long entry in Portal accepted even we are not able to update the N E data. But for avoiding errors we need to keep the details.

Weather Forecast:
• Some of the landing centres are not grouped properly based on the blocks
Government Schemes:
• In app screen the details of the schemes are not display properly. First line of the content looks like the heading
• Content alignment problem in the schemes
SOS :
• The message sent through SOS are not reaching the receiving end

Main Menu display
• Language change option are not activated, Need to verify it.
